Is Porsche Going To Produce the Sport Sedan – The So-Called Pajun?
Is Porsche Going To Produce the Sport Sedan – The So-Called Pajun?
The company Porsche is planning to create a new sports sedan named Pajun, which will take place under the Panamera range manufacturer. This was confirmed by the British media, which quoted the head of the company, Matthias Mueller. This car will compete in the market of cars from the category BMW 5 and Mercedes E-class.
Even during the introduction of smaller crossover Macan last year, Porsche announced that the goal is that annual sales in 2015 to reach 200,000 units (in 2013 the result is 162,100 vehicles). Therefore, the Stuttgart Company announced several innovations whose development started or will start. One of them is exactly the sedan, which except with BMW 5 and Mercedes E-class will also rival the Maserati Ghibli and Jaguar XF.
Currently this segment occupies nearly one third of all sales, so we are obliged to do something simply than Panamera, categorically Miller. – Such a solution however is not at all easy because the production of Macan just started. So you need to concentrate on the development of such a new model, and the expansion of the production capacity of our factories.
Rumors that Porsche is preparing a similar pattern emerged since 2012. Then he was named Pajun, which is an abbreviation for Panamera Junior. If the creation of this automobile really happens, then it will use next-generation platform MSB of concern Volkswagen.

In which country 80% of all cars are Mercedes Benz?
In which country 80% of all cars are Mercedes Benz?
Mercedes Benz is very popular in Albania. According to Top Gear 80% of all the cars you may see on Albanian roads are Mercedes. Probable you wonder why is that so.
The main reasons why we have so many Mercedes in Albania are- Albanians love luxury cars, Mercedes Benz is resistant enough to be driven in Albania’s bad roads, and the benz dealers after the 1990s were the first car dealers in this country. Thus, political leaders of that time manly drove Mercedes, and also the mechanics had much more knowledge on Mercedes than other cars.

Mercedes-Benz is Preparing a New Extreme AMG GT!!
Mercedes-Benz is Preparing a New Extreme AMG GT!!
The sport workshop Mercedes-Benz is preparing an extreme version of the Super car AMG GT, which will be a big competitor with the Porsche 911 GT3. This is information said by the head of AMG, Tobias Moers, for a British magazine Autocar.
The car will be a variant of the racing car based on the AMG GT, and will debut in 2016, replacing the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 Championship FIA GT3. According to Moers until then the engineers have time to improve all the features of the body, to make it more competitive.
There was no intention to create a dragster, whose only value will be the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds. We need to increase the power, to reduce weight and to improve the aerodynamics and suspension. “Our main goal is to get optimal ratio between power and weight, excellent handling and speed,” explains the head of AMG.
The new extreme Mercedes is expected to weight least than 80-100 pounds compared to the current version. This will be achieved by using composite materials, but the 4.0-liter V8 will be more powerful from 510 to 550hp. This supercar will have a wider track of the front and rear wheels, and a more aggressive aerodynamic package. The acceleration to hundred kilometers will be shortened for two tenths, and the maximum speed will remains limited to 310 km / h.
In comparison with Mercedes-Benz AMG GT, Porsche 911 GT3 has a 3.8 liter six-cylinder boxer with 475 hp which accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.5seconds, and has a top speed of 315 km/h
2015 porsche boxster gts: a bargain, in porsche speak
Come summer, it’ll be discount central at your local Porsche dealer. The factory is bolting its finest speed-making equipment to the Boxter to add another GTS model to its arsenal, which is a fancy way for Porsche to throw $10,000 on the hood and retain every last residual cent.
That’s about how much you’d need to spec a regular Boxster S with the additional standard features found on the GTS—and you still wouldn’t get the extra power. In GTS trim, the 3.4-liter flat-six jumps by 15 horses over the S model to 330 horsepower while torque rises 7 lb-ft to 273. Much like the 997-generation 911 CARRERA gts and the Boxster RS60 Spyder from 2008, the Boxster GTS gets two-stage adjustable dampers that drop the ride height by 0.4 inch and a sport exhaust that lets out evil crackles of unburned fuel.
Porsche says that the extra juice knocks a tenth off the 0-to-60-mph time of Boxsters equipped with the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic, down to 4.4 seconds. Based on our last test of a Boxster S, which yielded a 4.2-second 0–60 sprint, we suspect the GTS may clock a sub four-second time without much drama. At the limit, the GTS edges its S counterpart by 1 mph for a top speed of 174 mph.
But the cosmetic upgrades are what truly signal your intent to carve corners. Everything that can be tinted or coated with a black finish appears in plain sight, including the restyled front and rear valences, bi-xenon headlamps and LED taillamps, subtle GTS scripts on the doors and decklid, and the exhaust tips. The gorgeous 20-inch Carrera S wheels also are available, and of course they come in black. Inside, black Alcantara trim covers the seat inserts, steering wheel, door panels, headliner, and central storage bin. The rest is trimmed in leather with carbon-fiber strips along the center console, dash, and doors, with “GTS” embroidered on the headrests and pasted on the tachometer.
Before driving off with that sweet, burbling engine behind your ears, you’ll need at least $74,495 for the Boxster GTS to avoid any grand theft auto charges. That temptation might be why Porsche won’t bring an example to next month’s New York auto show (in reality, it’s because European sales won’t start until May). But as soon as we wrench our test gear to these cars, we know we’ll have a difficult time handing the keys back.
meet the next bmw 7-series
Well, a conceptised version of it. BMW’s ‘Vision Future Luxury’ design study arrives in China
This is the BMW Vision Future Luxury concept. Because this name takes a very long time to write, we’ll save time and call it the next 7-Series. Which it is, just about.
The VFLC is a flagship, über-posh four-door saloon unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show and demonstrating where BMW wants to go in the realm of ‘modern luxury’. This involves the use of über-cool suicide doors. And some very clever monocoque tech.
See, BMW has employed carbon as an underlying layer in the construction of the VFL, with the black stuff visible in the doors, under the seats and in what remains of the B-pillar.
The seat frames - seat frames! - are integrated into the load-bearing structure, allowing the use of a very small B-pillar, which in turn allows the fitment of backwards-opening rear doors.
The 7′s form has been hand-modelled – because a computer could never understand the ‘emotional appeal’, apparently – with a coupe-like roofline, internal air channeling in the C-pillar, rear apron openings to vent air from the wheel arches and the use of lightweight materials.
The kidney grille appears to have swallowed a gallon of protein juice (it’s now huge), while the headlamps use BMW’s new ‘laserlight’ tech. They’re ten times more intense than LEDs, eat up less energy and give a better range.
Inside, there’s a base layer of carbon fabric, followed by a level of interface components, and then a load-bearing layer of aluminium. Literally topping things all off is wood and leather to give a ‘comfortable ambience’.
The dash is similarly astonishing, too. It features a driver-centric cockpit with that lovely swooping dashboard, a 3D display with the left side giving vehicle information, and the right side additional infotainment stuff.
The head-up display projects information directly into the driver’s line of sight on the road, which is, quite frankly, brilliant. Front passengers even get their own information display too, with a touch-sensitive panel to use for things like buying opera tickets (BMW’s example, not ours).
The personalisation theme continues in the back, where the two rear seats each their own display, set in carbon surrounds and with a detachable tablet able to communicate with the interface up front. The rear seats themselves are surrounded by wood surfaces, lighting slats and the finest leather BMW could get its hands on.
With a new 7-Series expected next year, this concept is a clear demonstration of where BMW’s heading with its luxury saloon. We’re excited. Are you?

this is audi’s prologue avant
Futuristic shooting brake concept appears online ahead of show debut next week
These are the first official images of Audi’s Prologue Avant concept car, revealed here ahead of next week’s Geneva Motor Show.
Just four months after showcasing the massive Prologue Coupe at the LA Motor Show, here is a version that looks quite a lot like it but for one key difference; this time around, ladies and gentlemen, we have a boot.
Yep, shooting brakes are all the rage these days, and Audi has transferred the coupe’s svelte lines onto a slightly more commodious bodyshape. It’s a big bodyshape too, this car measuring in at 5.1m long, and 1.97m wide, it’s a monster, five-door car with space only for four. Well, it is a concept.
What’s less concepty is the drivetrain, which is taken from the Q7 plug-in hybrid, here turned up a notch. So you get a 3.0-litre TDI engine in combination with an electric motor that makes a total of 448bhp and a whopping 553lb ft of torque, which is allied to an eight-speed auto ‘box and four-wheel-drive. Which means a 0-62mph time of just 5.1 seconds, and limited top speed of 155mph. All this in a car that, we’re guessing, weighs near enough two tonnes.
Should you wish to run it purely on electric mode, Audi is predicting a range of around 33.6 miles. Underneath there’s also adaptive air suspension, lightweight wishbones, 20in ceramic brake discs and four-wheel-steering.
And like the Prologue Coupe, this Avant also previews the future of Audi’s design, with Audi’s stunning new Matrix [frickin'] Laser lights, a new grille for a wider presence, wide shoulders, flared arches, and of course, the concept car staple – monster 22in wheels.
Inside it’s all Luxury Skynet: much leather and Alcantara, a three-display touchscreen dash that forms one singular whole across the front, while at the back there are a pair of detachable OLED displays in the rear headrests. There’s a display on the centre tunnel too for things like air con and infotainment, and front and rear passengers can exchange info. If you want to that is.
Then there’s the ‘butler’ system, that identifies the driver by their smartphone, and adjusts the seats and climate control automatically according to your preset preference. That’s cool, you have to admit.
In fact, the entire concept is cool; we’ve always been fans of wagons here on TG. What do you think of this one, dot.commers?
