Volkswagen unveiled the sixth generation of the Transporter, the model which has sold more than 12 million in 65 years. Design draws from Tristar Concept andEco-Motion Concept with great mask, wider grille and lights with LED daytime running lights.
Inside have used better quality materials and design is more reminiscent of passenger and commercial vehicle less. Among others we find large touch 6.6" screen, three-spoke steering wheel and infotainment systems.
Equipped with 2.0-liter TDI Euro 6 engine (EA288 Nutz) and 204 hp and the 2.0-liter TSI Euro 6 performance 150 and 204 hp, the DCC system (Dynamic Cruise Control) with three operating modes: comfort, normal and sport, adjustable shock absorbers, and the system Front Assist with automatic braking system.
The price for the Transporter in Germany, starts at 23,035 € (24,600 $) (plus value added tax for the 62-kW TDI/Euro5), while entry into the world of the Multivan begins at 29,952 € (31,990 $) for the Multivan Conceptline with 62-kW TDI.
